Originally from South Africa and currently based in Doha, Qatar for last 12 years which also had a huge impact on why I do art, because of missing your country, missing your people and to be a expat makes you vulnerable that’s why I love to paint Faces depicting expression and emotions.

As a hairdresser full-time, creativity is still part of my daily work, with my customers and adapt different color techniques and mixing colors. But something was still missing.

I always had a passion to create art and because of my busy schedule never had the time to do it.
Life has not always been easy, so you follow the path that pays the bills and not always your passion.
Over the past 2 years I started painting again, I am self-taught and started finding my way back to what I love, and then the passion grew, and I always wondered “what if”, and then I sold my first painting.
Art found me again at a later stage of my life. 

They say the eyes are the windows of the soul but for me it’s all in the expression of the face, you can look at someone, and if you look closely, you can see more than just the face, behind the eyes lies more truth than you will ever know, and not everyone can see it, but the truth is in there, you will never see the soul only if they let you see it.
And as my life journey continues, Art chose me, and it is my passion.
